Specific Hunt Units are 60, 63 & 53 as well as the newly designated "Eagle Cap (Wilderness) zone"

Hunting Camps
Spring Bear (Controlled)
YES! We can pack you anywhere (accessible) in the Eagle Cap Wilderness for your Spring Bear Hunt! We do have some areas we recommend as they have been extremely underutilized in recent years. Approx 50% of applicants draw tags. Camp is a traditional wilderness tent camp, accessible by horse only.
Any legal weapon. (NOTE: You must apply for a specific unit tags, but we are not limited where we can drop you)
Spring Bear: $2,000pp
Rifle Elk (1st Season)
North River Camp is farthest camp. No hikers accepted in this camp (all hunters must ride).
All 3 units noted above (250, 260, 263) are available.
2 person minimum in all camps. Non-hunter rates negotiable.
Rifle Elk
North River Camp $3,000pp
All Other Camps $2,500pp
Archery Camps (Deer & Elk)
Camps are fully supplied. Recent years have been 100% draw for Oregon residents for the new Eagle Cap Zone.
Elk - Controlled hunt - Eagle Cap Zone 253R.
Deer - Controlled hunt - Unit specific (Units 50, 60 & 63)
SO... get your deer tag for the unit you'll be hunting but Elk tags are good for all 3 units in our area.
Hunts limited to 5 days of hunting (7-day trip)

Muzzleloader
We are huge fans of this opportunity in Oregon hunting. Recent years residents draw success has been 100%. Very minimal hunting pressure for this season. Eagle Cap Zone (260M). Call & visit about opportunities & what we see as the newest trend.

Rifle Deer
Controlled Hunt. No Eagle Cap Zone for bucks. Hunt units 150, 160 & 163. 100% draw in Minam unit (160) for 2023 & 2024. There's some whoppers in these units. Multiple locations available.

Meat Packing
Offered in all Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Areas and limited areas of Wilderness
You've harvested it... but now how do you get it out? Give us a call to pack your elk, deer, bear, goat or sheep. Most meat packing is $650. Some locations may have a travel surcharge.
